I'm a guy looking at the bigger picture, trying to figure things out. I love cooking and going on long walks to take in the sights and see the world that we live in. I like going out for the sake of enjoying myself and enjoying life with my friends or just staying in with people to just watch a nice movie on the couch. I enjoy shopping and going to the occasional bar/club or heck even karaoke, (though I think I suck at it, lol.) I like some sports, including Ultimate Frisbee, golf and (sometimes) soccer . I also like taking time to relax and do some reading. I originally came to this site to see what kind of person I am with all the personality questions and etc...I guess I want to meet people, (or maybe even a special person, I dunno,) where I can actually communicate/have a nice conversation with, listening to understand what kind of people they are like, and hope that they have something interesting or fun to say. In this world, people are often afraid to open up since they're afraid of being hurt, I admit, I'm like that from time to time; I sometimes am guarded, but who isn't from time to time?
I'm looking at the characteristics that the site gives me and I have to say they look negative...they need a more positive spin on them, they aren't that bad.

I'm a very passionate person-- full of strong emotion and spirit. I can be kind of quiet around people when I first meet them, but I really enjoy having conversations with thoughtful, interesting, open-minded and intelligent individuals. I'm generally a pretty easy going person. I try hard to be respectful toward other people, and to keep their thoughts and feelings in mind.

I'm 6' and 170lbs. I'm a thin guy, but I'm fairly strong for my size. I'm in good shape. I have dark green eyes, and dark brown hair. My skin is olive colored in the summer, and lightens a bit during the winters. I've been told by many people that I'm handsome.

I recently earned a degree in psychology, with a philosophy minor. I consider myself forever a student, and I intend to continue my education. I read a lot of books, and I try to maintain an open mindset toward learning new things.

WOW how to start this... I am a single divorced mom of 4 wonderful kids. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and playing darts and pool. I recently joined a volley ball team and am having fun learning that game.. I like going to the state parks in the area and taking photographs all pictures on this site are taken by me... I love to write! Stories, poems, etc.--all of it! However, I can not spell worth crap. I am constantly looking things up at dictionary.com lol. I like to go out and be with awesome people! I am genuine. I will tell you what I think, and I would love to hear what you think ; ) I find people fascinating and meeting them is FANTASTIC. I also love clothes and fashion. There is something to be said for a well-cut suit and clean haircut. Small things about the world intrigue me. I love life, not because it is always happy, but because it is all that I have! I've lived a pretty normal life, but my adaptation of the world is anything but normal. I'm people oriented for the most part. I feel more then I think. However I do both alot. I'm trustworthy, honest, and reliable. I open up to people on a trust/time basis and am a avid people reader. Ambition is a much better A word then apathy. Expressionism is definetly a verb to me. Hello! I grew up in two places. For my young life I was a farm boy in South Eastern Wisconsin and during my high school years my family relocated to Northern Minnesota. I feel at home in the Midwest. I do not mind the 'big city' but would prefer the outskirts or out in the sticks. I have 300 acres of woods, streams and fields in Northern Minesota I would like to build on someday. My degrees are in Forestry, Soils and Water. I have a deep affinity for the land and all things natural. I like to camp, I still hunt a few times a year. Except for the occasional football game I am not really into watching sports. I do still occasionally play though. I have eclectic tastes in music, right now I have dipped back into the Irish/Celtic/Gaelic stuff, but I like all kinds except rap. I am a sucker for a good movie, but I also really really enjoy going to live theater like fiddler on the roof, The King and I, A chorus Line, and the like. I have a good knowledge of wines and imported beers and I enjoy going out for fine dinning. I don't really bar hop, I would rather invite friends over and enjoy a few beverages at home.

For hobbies, it might seem sorta geeky but my Grandfather and Father started me on coin collecting when I was very young. I also make walking staves and canes for folks who need them. I enjoy telling and writing stories and would like to someday write a book. I do enjoy going to antique shops and poking around. I do like to find old things of value that are useful. I really enjoy to cook and prepare foods of quality for family and friends. I think many guys do but might not want to admit it. But, along with being 'masters of the grill', we enjoy providing good food. Some of my best memories are of friends and family gathered in the kitchen and chatting while we work together to create a meal.

I have been to Europe several times, Mexico several times, the Caribbean, almost all 50 states, most of Canada. I love to travel and plan on going back to the British isles as many times as I can.

Most days I can't readily give an "easy" summary of myself. So I will try my best... I enjoy many things if life. I really like to meet people and get an idea what their all about, and how they got where they are. I find myself working a lot, and when I have free time I try to find more work. Might seem weird, hopefully this year I will to take more time off during the average week. I love to travel and that is generally why I work so much. Well I'm devoted at home dad to 2 wonderful kids. I enjoy fishing and camping during the winter months I enjoy playing poker at local bars. Like to spend time reading a good book once in awhile or curling up on the couch to watch a good movie. Me: I'm Pagan, and I'm a huge fan of the Minnesota Twins. I love reading theatre (as in acting) singing and things like that. I'm a college graduate, and I work part time as a cashier at Walmart until I figure out what I want to do with myself. I've been bowling since I was 8, and as nerdy as it sounds I really enjoy bowling on leagues. As much as these^ might make me sound extroverted, I'm not really. I'm distressingly shy until I get to know you a little better.. then I'm the extrovert you probably expect when you read my interests. :) Let's see what else... I've never dated, mostly due to my own insecurities during college and then right before graduation both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer. I've spent most of the last two years working semi-constantly to take care of them. Mom passed away at the end of 2007, and Dad passed away just before the 4th of July 2009. It's been hard, but I'm trying to move past it. Which is why my general disclaimer is that you should always spend time with the people you love, you never know when they might be taken away from you.
I grew up in a tiny town called Braham, Minnesota, home to about 2,500 people and a whole lot of gossip. It's one of those places where your business is everyone's business. I'm still trying to figure out why my parents were so enchanted by it.
As for the coming out thing... it's complicated. I can tell you in retrospect that I had a 'crush' on a girl in kindergarten. However I never heard the word gay and what it might mean until 8th grade. Since all the opinions I was getting were that being gay was bad I hid in my little closet until I was 19, when I stumbled my way out of it during my Human Sexuality class.

My name is Chris, and I like candlelit beaches and long walks on my dinner. Since neither of those ever happen, I happily settle for European board games (they're cooler than they sound), photography, and writing. Creation is important to me, so I'm almost always making something or another on my computer. I use more semicolons than the average (median or mode) person.

I'm a generally easy-going person. I try to take things in stride as often as I can, and even if I am feeling down, it doesn't take me long to bounce back. I have an extremely optimistic attitude tempered with realism, because bad things will eventually happen, but I'm always hoping for the best of circumstances, and I know things never stay bad forever.

I'm also optimistic when it comes to how I view relationships. I think that if anyone searches hard enough they'll find someone, and the only way you'll end up alone is if you quit looking for love. I consider myself to be a hopeful romantic and probably have a rose-tinted view of love. To be honest, I've had one relationship, I've dated like twice, so I'm still slightly new to the whole dating scene.

I'm very outgoing and love being social. I'm a little zany at times, but I know when to get serious. I try to consider everyone's point of view at least one, unless they try to either a. shove it down my throat and or b. it's extremely biggoted towards myself or others. I believe people can believe whatever they want to believe, or do what they want to believe, as long as they don't hurt people in the process. I try to see people as individuals instead of "groups." I'm transgender(I don't think of myself as male or female, I just try to be who I am).

I'm a huge gamer, owning nearly all of the systems, save for the really expsensive more recent ones...I love RPG's, action/adventure, fighting, puzzle, mystery, platform most all genres, save for very few shooters.

I'm interested in anyone that is interested in me. Honesty to me is a great virtue that I take very seriously in a person and in return I will do the same. Shyness is one of my faults but once I get to know someone it disappears. I like to chill out and relax, but I also like to have fun. Hey everyone, nice to meet you! Well I'm from Northern Minnesota. I really enjoy being outside during the winter season. Just something about the cold air blowing against your face, is just absolutley amazing. Well im a very loving person, and I can be assertive if I have to. I enjoy people who enjoy people basically. Some may say that im super funny, I think I am, you cannot live life without laughing. I love to play Volley ball and I love to paint. I like to speak my mind and Im not afraid to stand up for what I think is right. I graduated from High School....This is by far my biggest acheivment. My freinds are very important to me because they stuck by me through my darkest hours. I can be a bitch sometimes you just have to ignore it. I start college in the fall, and Im quite proud of myself because Im a first generation college student. I dont really take anything too seriously, I believe that lifes to short to be uptight and serious all the time. I care about the environment because I grew up in the country and witnessed wildlife and the beauty nature brings to the world. I care a lot about poverty and homelessness because I witnessed first hand the severity of homelessness in Chicago. The amount of people in Bemidji times 2 is the estimated amount of homeless people in one night In Chicago. This really disturbs me and I plan to make a difference in the world.
